Quick answer

The fire brigade number in India is 101, the fire service number for a fire anywhere in the country; 112, the single emergency number, also reaches the fire service in states that have joined their fire control rooms to it, such as Tripura since 2019.

India had 3,377 fire stations on 31 December 2018, by Flamekite's sum of the state table in Lok Sabha question 1199; no newer national count has been published. Flamekite lists each station a state publishes: Delhi 71, Karnataka 202, and Maharashtra's city brigades and MIDC so far.

To reach the station for an address, open the state's page, find the district, zone or ward, and call that station's landline for non-urgent matters; a fire NOC is applied for at the fire service's headquarters or online portal, not at the station.
