In Jaipur the fire NOC is issued by the Jaipur Municipal Corporation's fire wing, one corporation again since Heritage and Greater were merged on 10 November 2025. You apply on LSG Online through Rajasthan SSO; a Fire Officer and then the Chief Fire Officer inspect, and Raj Nivesh lists 15 days for the service.
Every building above 15 m needs a permanent fire NOC before its occupancy certificate, and so does any coaching centre for more than 50 students or a rooftop restaurant. As a Nagar Nigam, Jaipur charges Rs 2 per sq ft of built-up area and Rs 10,000 for a renewal, generally every year. Since July 2026 JDA reportedly releases final building plans only after the JMC fire NOC.

Renewals for Jaipur buildings
Jaipur NOCs are generally yearly, so the renewal date matters more here than in most cities.
Do
- Apply on FIRE NOC RENEW at least 15 days before expiry. Rajasthan UDH
- Budget Rs 10,000 for each Jaipur renewal, the Nagar Nigam rate. Rajasthan UDH

- Do not assume a hospital's NOC lasts 1 year: Table 3 gives 5, 3 or 1 years by plot and height. Rajasthan UDH

What Flamekite could not confirm about Jaipur fire NOCs
No official page gave the number of Jaipur Municipal Corporation fire stations, a Chief Fire Officer's phone or email, or the corporation's own fire bye-laws, on 29 October 2026. The last station count Flamekite found was a 2019 press report of 11 stations, too old to publish as current.
Also not confirmed: the official instrument behind JDA's July 2026 practice; whether RIICO issues or forwards fire NOCs in Sitapura, VKIA and Jaipur's other industrial areas; and whether the fire NOC is listed with a time limit under Rajasthan's public services delivery Act of 2011 (Act 23 of 2011).
